Man Candy Monday: Ben Affleck


Happy Memorial Day to my fellow Americans! If you know someone who has served, be sure to say thank you today. We're so lucky to have all that we do, thanks to our incredible servicemen and women.

In honor of this holiday, let's celebrate with one man who saved our country - and the entire world - Ben Affleck! OK maybe he didn't really save the world in Armageddon, but he played the part so well. And Pearl Harbor? oh.em.gee. What a war hero. How could you not fall in love with him?!

Although Good Will Hunting put Ben on the map, I think Armageddon was the film that caused women everywhere to take notice. I know my teen butt was in the theater watching him fight a huge rock plummeting at earth. I know I had a few posters of Ben on my wall from the movie (the first two below ;)

This is one celebrity hottie that I was actually excited to see get married. I love Jennifer Garner and I think that they're perfect for each other. Sorry J Lo, but you two just didn't make ANY sense.

    Yes! I was one of those crushing on him when Armageddon came out. I do think and Jennifer Garner are great together. x

    I've always been kind of uninterested in Ben Affleck, but I think he's cuter than his counterpart, Matt Damon. ;) I already scheduled my Man Candy Monday post but can't "link up" until it shows up in the morning--will do then. Also happy you made a button; I've been meaning to urge you to do that!!

    i have to say, this week, you and claire posted a couple of cuties.

    i was never into ben until recently. i think it's his acting more than his hotness that i'm drawn to. loved him in the company men.

    Maybe I'm kinda crazy in those days because among my friends I'm the only one who really likes Ben Affleck even during the 'Chasing Amy' days... I enjoyed that movie.
    Loved him in Armageddon and Pearl Harbor...he's with another hottie there, Josh Hartnett.

    I think he and Jennifer Garner are an adorable couple. But can I just say it's kind of freaking me out to see was born in '72 - so he's 38 or 39? Geez I feel old!

    yes! i first enjoyed this man candy in goodwill hunting (even though his best bud, matt, was the one i fell in love with, hahah). then came armageddon, jersey girl, etc. i love his bostonian accent. he is def an eye candy! keep these calorie-free treats coming, i love it!

    I love Armageddon and always get sucked into watching it whenever it’s on TV. I still remember seeing it in the theater. Ben and Jennifer make a lovely couple, so I’m with you there. He is definitely a handsome man!

    I could watch Armageddon over and over again. I am trying to look for it in Blu-ray.

    He is such a hottie. I even liked him in Bounce. I even liked him in Jersey Girl. He is just so likeable and easy on the eyes. Good choice!
