Palm Trees and a Warm Breeze

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to go to Palm Springs with two great friends. Stephanie of Thoughts From Cali invited me and our other gal pal to a mini getaway in the desert oasis and it.was.fabulous.

The weather was a perfect 95 degrees, the pool was heated to nearly the same, we treated ourselves to pedicures, the sangria was plentiful, and we even ended the night with a trip to Sonic (this is exciting for me because there are very few locations in all of Southern California). I couldn't have asked for anything more...well except for that bee to have not gotten stuck IN MY HAIR while I was in the pool. I screamed like a maniac for several minutes before someone flicked it out for me. But other than that near death experience, we had an amazing time.

Since Stephanie's parents own property in Palm Springs, I look forward to many more visits this summer!

    That sounds like the perfect trip, especially pedis and the pool. We don't really have a Sonic around us. It's about an hour away. I've only been there once and I'm craving more!
