A Day at the Beach

Yesterday I didn't have to work so I grabbed my pup and headed to the Huntington Beach Dog Beach. I was born in Orange County and went to college there so anytime I go back I fall in love with the coastal communities and beautiful beaches. As a kid, my summers were spent in both Huntington and Laguna Beaches. One day I'd love to end up back there, in an amazing home right on the sand. Gotta dream big right?

For the time being, my visit was to acquaint my dog with the sand and ocean. Since it was her first time, she wasn't a huge fan of the waves but I think with time she'll enjoy it because she loves water.

To end the afternoon I picked up some good ol' California food courtesy of In-N-Out. I miss eating cheeseburgers, although the animal style fries are always delish!

For those of you who don't live out west (it just used to be California but now there are locations in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas) have you ever had In-N-Out? So good! You must try on a visit.

  3. Love the beach. I guess Shake Shack is like the equivalent of In and Out burger here in NYC. I've never had either. I know... I live a sad life! ;o)

  7. I love In-N-Out. I make sure whenever I am in Cali, I go to one. When I was in Vegas, I saw one but it was out of the way. These are the only burgers I will eat. There's just something about their bun.

  23. I want a puppy so badly, and I just know the dog beach would be one of our first stops!

And I adore In-N-Out. I had it for the first time when i went to visit a friend in LA a few years ago, and I made her take me there several times. When I boarded a plane to go visit another friend in San Fran, I then made him take me again. Ha! And they never protested! How is it that it can be so so good?!

  24. Coco looks so cute in these pics and I'd give anything to have dog beach around me. We have the river, but I'd never let the dogs in there. I have to settle for my aunt & uncle's pool...lol.

In-N-Out looks so yummy and that's just another thing I wish we had on this coast :)
