Hi friends! I’m Christina from Christina’s {Pop} Life. When Leeann asked me to guest post for Man Candy Monday, I jumped at the chance! First of all, I think Leeann is the best! Since finding each other’s blogs we have become fast friends and have discovered that we the same taste in just about everything. Secondly, I think this series is so much fun. I link up religiously and can’t wait to see who everyone is crushing on. Also, I really wanted to finally show off my number one celebrity crush. If you’ve visited my blog, you’ll know that Jake Gyllenhaal is my main man. I certainly don’t get tired of writing about him, but I’m afraid my followers get tired of reading about him, so I have refrained from picking him for a Man Candy post. -He is of Swedish and Russian-Jewish descent.
-At 11 years old, he got his first movie role as Billy Crystal’s son in City Slickers.
-His father is a director, his mother is a producer and screenwriter and his sister is an actress. He and Maggie Gyllenhaal are the first siblings to be Oscar-nominated for acting in the 21st century.
-His Bar Mitzvah party was held at a homeless shelter, something his parents encouraged to help him recognize how privileged his childhood had been.
