Orange: From Summer to Fall


I think the only color I don't have in my closet is orange. It's so bold and bright - and works for summer or fall - so today I am featuring it for Oh, How Pinteresting!

Now onto my rant - why do I live minutes from the Southern California coastline, yet have only been twice this summer? For real? There are people who have yet to even see the Pacific Ocean, but I neglect it's beauty. There are several weekends left so I better start making the most of it!

    I don't wear orange either. I think you have to have a certain kind of skin tone to pull it off!

    i have some orange in my closet, but I feel like i never wear it because it is so bright.

    love those orange jeans though! Colored jeans are really popular this fall

    you know that i don't own anything in orange! not one thing. I used to hate it because I thought it clashed with my red hair but it's so growing on me. I was thisclose to buying an awesome orange side-zipper skirt at ann taylor... maybe when it goes on sale it will be my first orange. great post!

    I have no orange in my wardrobe either - though I do love the color come fall. Pumpkin spice is a nice variation - it's orange mixed with brown, so it's not so bright, yet still festive! :)

    Loving all this orange! I don't have any orange in my wardrobe either! I used to have a lot because my high school's colors were orange and black and so I got a little burned out on orange but now that I've been out of high school for a while I think it's time to put some back into my wardrobe!

    I love wearing burnt orange, it just screams fall to me!! I even have a few accent pieces that are a brighter orange. But the darker orange is my favorite.

    Morning! well you're doing much better than I am at taking advantage of being so close to the beach... I've lived in LA my whole life and the last time I went to the beach was in 2006 in Florida! Shame on me!

    The closest to orange I'll travel is coral. I can work the coral, the orange just looks awful on me. Though, that *could* have something to do with Oklahoma State and Texas both rolling deep with the orange - and being the biggest rivals of OU. I can admire orange and it's beauty - I just have a hard time rocking it.

    I think orange is such a great color for autumn, it's like you're co-ordinated with the falling leaves..haha! :) I also really like burgundy and darker blue for this autumn. Lovely post!

    I don't think I have any orange in my closet, but I love the color. Perfect for fall. All of those pictures are amazing and I really want that wallpaper, but I'm too afraid to wallpaper a room. Hahaha. We live 2 1/2 hours from the beach and only go once a year...in October. When it's freezing and raining. Hahahaha.

    I never use to like orange or own anything orange until I was diagnosed w/ MS. Orange is the color for MS so now I have tons of orange stuff and have really grown to like it!!

    I don't have a ton of orange in my closet either. I refuse to wear it with black because it instantly reminds me of Halloween. Ha! I like the jean shorts, orange tank, and white cardigan combo.

    anyways, i don't have a lot of orange in my closet either... except for a tank top which i took from my mom's closet (shh!) and a tube top that was a gift from my best friend (who probably noticed that i don't have a lot of orange...).

    Truth...Orange has always been my least favorite color, but I am LOVING all of these pics! =) Beautiful post! And...I know what you mean 100% about the beach. Hubby & I lived in CA all our lives (moved to Texas 3 months ago) & we lived 10 minutes from the beach & ask me how many times we went together in 4 years...zero. Not ONE time! Can you believe that? First time to the beach together...Our Honeymoon In Kauai. =) SO SO crazy! =)
