Island Daydreaming

This week, What the Hell Wednesday is dedicated to my poor excuse for a doctor. Last month I got sick while on vacation. Fast forward a month and a half and I am still sick. Luckily it died down fro a few weeks so I wasn't miserable the entire time, but it's back again in full force. I spend my Thanksgiving weekend in bed. Thanks, doc! It's magnified by a hundred because I have asthma. Luckily I have a breathing machine at my apartment or otherwise I'd have made about a dozen trips to the hospital.

What the hell? Why is it so hard to give a person who is clearly sick antibiotics? I finally got her to call some in yesterday. I hope it helps.

    totally relate! i've been freaking itchy for weeks now with no answer and meds making me crazy drowsy. off to a allergist this friday. feel better, and we do need an island getaway!

    Oh friend, I hope you start feeling better very soon. That is ridiculous that the doc didn't call in antibiotics a month ago.

    On a happier note, the resort you stayed at is so beautiful and I could use an island vacation right about now!

    Gorgeous pictures, and man do they have me longing to be somewhere tropical! I hope you feel better ASAP--saw your fb post about the potential side effects of antibiotics, YIKES. Crossing my fingers that doesn't happen. Being sick is the worst--especially as long as you've been sick! Feel better. :)

    Hope you're feeling better now sweet girl! One of my happy places is on the coast of somewhere beautiful. I can't believe I've never been to the Dominican Republic! After seeing these amazing photos it makes me wish I could book a trip stat. SO beautiful!!

    I ♥ Punta Cana. I really want to live there someday but for now, I try to visit at least once a year. I was there this past June and I swear, when I step off the plane, it always feels like I am returning home.
