Color Crush

Happy Friday the 13th! In the spirit of spooky I'll let you in on a secret I have - mixing and matching bold colors is a bit scary to me. I get a little nervous when my clothing is too bold. The bravest I've ever been is my red skinnies.

I know that color blocking is going out of style, but here's a milder version. Beautiful, yet simple, dresses with accessories that don't match.

Are you brave enough to go bold? What's your favorite way to wear color? I usually paint my nails brightly and it's an added pop of color that I can feel confident in. Or wear a bright pair of heels to add personality to a dull outfit.

    Happy Friday the 13th! I get a little scared to go overly bold with my clothes too, but do like the combos you posted. The red dress is especially pretty and I also like the wine accessories.

    Adding a punch of color with jewelry or shoes is usually more in my comfort zone. I'd love to have that pink polish from Essie!

    i've always been a lover of color. i used to wear a bright blue top with a fuschia tank over jeans and then added bright yellow pumps. it was one of my fav outfts because of the bright, unexpected combo of hues.

    i believe you should never be afraid of color as long as it's worn right.

    I too am afraid to wear florescent like colors, but I definately love hot pink! All of these colors are gorgeous...makes me excited for the summer even though I know its in style now!

    I do back and forth! I love me some bold colors, but I tend to do bold to the neutral without even realizing it! I'm going to try plain old bright this year!

    I love bright colours. I first started off by wearing bright bold lipstick. Honestly, although I wear a lot of black, I have lots of bright clothes in my closet - cobalt blue jeans, green dress, yellow coat...

    I’m with you. I’m not courageous with colors, but I love to see it! Especially in winter. Everyone wears black, navy, gray and brown up here.
