Are you into this trend?
I need to get some great layering pieces to go with my Michael Kors watch!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you! I love the trend but sometimes feel a little awkward with so much on my wrists. I've cut back to my watch and only one or two bracelets, it's still super fun!
ReplyDeleteI wear this trend and love it! You should definitely rock this. And if you ever want some bangles - we have some on my jewelry line :)
ReplyDeleteRed Soles and Red Wine
well obviously i'm a fan since i like to instagram the shit out of my wrist.
ReplyDeletedon't worry about the awkward feeling. after a while you get used to the heavy weight on your arm cuz it's so fabulous.
I totally love this look! The hosts at my job do this all the time and I think it looks so cute, but any time I do it, I just feel...too....BUSY! Lol I don't know if I'll ever fully get into it, I guess I just really need to find some funky yet cohesive pieces!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'd love to see it if you finally figure it out!
Sending you sunshine,
Rachael @ You Me and Natalie
Hubby bought me the rose Michael Kors watch which is bulky. Love it! BUT I feel like my wrist is too small to rock the bracelets with it.
ReplyDeleteI do this all the time and LOVE IT. Such a pretty look!

I am sooooo into this look. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know people still wore watches! ;P
ReplyDeleteI´m so in love with this trend! I love piling up on bracelets and I´ve been dreaming about MK watch forever!

I'm all over this trend. Well, in my head, I don't have a bulky watch.. yet. I bet you'll own that trend, Leeann. But I totally understand needing that burst of courage to start it.
ReplyDeleteI love this trend and because of it, I picked up another watch. As much as I love the look of layering bracelets with a watch, I'm terrified of my watch being scratched. If you need inspiration, Life is Bananas is a great person to get it from. She rocks the look perfectly!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the first picture; and this trend. Sadly, I can't pull it off - my wrist is the size of a 5-year-olds. :P
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving this trend too! I need to find me one & try it out!
ReplyDeleteI just got a MK watch for Christmas and it is my new fav accessory! I love piling on the bangels and beads with it too! Love this look!
ReplyDeletei love big watches or a nice "stack". i think you can do it :)
ReplyDeleteyup, rockin it right now! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I haven't tried it yet either for the same fear of awkwardness.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great look. I'm going to have to practice this a bit, I usually have no idea of what to stack together. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing this for a couple of years now because I used to have to wear a watch for work, but I also wanted to wear my pandora bracelet so I would just pile everything on.
ReplyDeletei love watches - BIG watches - as in i only buy men's watches b/c i LOVE the bulky feel!
ReplyDeleteI love this look too, and it makes me think of Mayra. :) The problem with me is twofold: 1. I always wear long sleeves, and 2. I have a huge scar on my right hand/arm. Have you noticed it? It's from a candle burn 8 years ago. I'm not normally self conscious about it, but I am hyper aware of it when I wear bracelets . . . cause they draw attention to it or something. Plus, I don't own a watch. So I guess this trend is out for me! But I've always been a fan of lots of jewelry. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my new favorite trend! I starting really rocking it in Nashville and loved it. I only do 2 bracelets with my watch. Maybe I'll start adding more down the line. I've been meaning to post some of my 'stacks' for a little while, but I think I want to make some more before I do that.
ReplyDeleteYou must try this trend!
yes i am very much liking this trend to. there is something classy about a large watch with a nice strap.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when I first started stacking my arm!!! But the awkward feeling goes away quickly...now I have a hard time not wearing it all!
ReplyDeleteI used to rock this look in high school all the time! And I was just thinking about how much I missed it, and that I wanted to bring it back! Nice to know I was trendy before everyone else! Hahahaha
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you - I love the arm party trend on other people but when I try a stack I just think it looks weird! Sometimes I'll wear multiple (3-4) bracelets on one arm, and then my chunky watch on its own on the other, but I haven't mastered the watch + bracelets on one arm yet!
ReplyDeletePS thanks for stopping by my blog!
OOh I love these examples and I totally know what you mean, I feel like everyone is doing this but there is something soo cool and fashionable about it. I think that top pic is so stylish, love the gold and navy combo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and your story about So Cal country...hehe.

I like the chunky look, too. I think my wrists are too tiny though to pull off the style.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted a watch for a few years now and I have been hesitant because they're not functional lmao we all use our cell phones so it would strictly be a bracelet :)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten into the chunky watch and recently was given the Michael Kors Jetsetter watch I'd been loving! I wear it almost every day now. :)
ReplyDeleteMeggy from Chasing Davies
Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! & OMG. BULKY watches are the BEST ever!! My amazing bf just got me one & I loveeeeee it. All of these styles you found are amazing!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI loove this look and try to pull it off all the time but my wrists are so bony that it rarely looks good on me haha!
