Blue Birthday Party

So there was this one time I dyed my hair ombre blue...

Yup! I am now a crazy haired lady. After wanting to dye my hair blue since I was in high school, for over a decade, I took the plunge. I now have blonde hair with the tips ombred from teal to dark blue (although in person it looks mostly teal).


Since I was feeling a lot better than I have, I decided to have an early birthday dinner with friends. Drinking after was part of the plan, but I wasn't up for that. I'm still coughing a lot and have no energy. So dinner was plenty for me and i had a great time! Here's what I wore. A blue dress to compliment my hair ;)


And my wonderful sorority sisters were there to celebrate with me! And a Sig Ep ;) The first picture is of me and my great friend Kathrin - who just started a blog called Shop.School.Sleep. check her out! Next is me and my friend Anthony. He's crazy and insisted on a prom pose. Then the bottom pic is of my Delta Zeta sisters. We've come a long way from drinking on fraternity row to calm, non-alcoholic dinners. The two wonderful ladies on each end are currently pregnant!


And me with my birthday treat! My actual birthday is next Sunday and I'll be in San Diego celebrating. Many more birthday pictures to come!

    I love your hair. It reminds me of when I did mine blue and teal. There's a huge difference with how it looks with dark and light hair.

    I loved looking at all your early birthday pics!! Blue suits you!! Your hair, your dress - you look so gorgeous!!! Micaela and I always wanted to dye our hairs a dark, dark blue that we would still have our naturally black hair, but in the light it would look a dark blue like Veronica from the Archie comics! haha I always see pics of girls with pink or blue hair on pintrest or on celebs like Katy Perry and always get hair envy! That's what I experience when I see you and your pretty tips! So glad you're feeling better and were able to enjoy your weekend with friends!
