Yup, my work is sending me down under for two weeks and I'm extending my stay for an extra week! I'm a mixture of excited and nervous. Thrilled to have the opportunity to see Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney (see map below ;), along with some friends that live there, but nervous for that 15 1/2 hour flight I'll be making by myself. Oh yeah, and I have to still book a hotel, figure out my suitcase situation, and make cell phone arrangements...all in less than a month.
But when I start stressing out, I just need to think about how gorgeous it's going to be. I mean, look at these amazing landscapes!
Perth
Of course as a tourist who has never been to Australia, kangaroos and koalas are on my must-see list!
Anyone been to Perth, Melbourne or Sydney and have suggestions/tips? I'd love to hear them!
That looks like SO much fun! Australia is definitely on my list of must go places :) Is it just me or do you think of Finding Nemo everytime you think of Australia? HAHA :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
PS - I definitely typed Thursday and almost hit sent. I hate when I'm ahead like that!
Yayyyy!! The weather has been great here lately!!
ReplyDeleteIn Sydney - look into taking a little ferry ride from Darling Harbour to Manly beach for ice cream! Bondi is a must too!
And Melbourne has THE best shopping!!!
I haven't been to Perth - it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere with a different timezone etc. but I've heard good things :)
LOOOOOVE Australia! Sydney is my all-time favorite place in the entire world. Take a walk around the Quays and do some shopping in the Rocks. Definitely do not miss the Opera House. Bondi Beach should not be missed. Oh my gosh, I'm so jealous!!
