Being in Australia for three weeks really threw me off. It was early spring there and when I returned to LA it was in the high 90s. Plus I missed Halloween so I feel like it's September. Despite all of that, the weather is cooling down and the Christmas decorations are up already. This weekend I went to breakfast with Kate of Nautical By Nature and then we walked around The Grove, our local LA mall. Since the decorations are already out, we decided to take a few pictures with the huge Christmas tree!
And in other news, the Saints upset the Falcons! The fact that they beat a great 8-0 team proves that they can win, they just need to play like they did today.
I was totally bummed becuase the game wasn't being shown on TV, but the amazing Claire of Bicoastally, who is also a huge supporter of the Who Dat Nation, hooked me up so I could watch online. She's THE BEST! I missed the first half and didn't get to see my favorote player, Jimmy Graham, make two touchdowns, but I did get to see him kick ass the rest of the game. So.Happy.

Oh, Australia?!!! That sounds like HEAVEN!! The malls certainly push Christmas earlier and earlier every year, huh? I can't even begin to picture Christmas in Cali being from New England I don't think it would feel like Christmas with warm air and no snow! xo
Your hair is so blonde!!! Glad to hear you are back!

So fun! I want to go to The Grove at Christmas time!
Christina stole the exact comment right outta my mouth!! :) I love Christmas decor everywhere too but get so bummed when it's still 80-90 degrees outside! ha
That is beautiful! I'm starting to get into the Christmas spirit now. All of the decorations being put out at the malls and shops certainly helps. I can't even imagine 90 degrees in November! I'm from northern CA, and I think we were always more seasonal than you southerners. But I've lived in New England so long, I scarcely remember. :)
sounds like a fun weekend :)
Yay, welcome home and back to 'Merica (and football). You had a very US first weekend back :) Glad you had so much fun - ugh, I can't even handle thinking of Christmas/Hanukkah shopping yet. I'm such a Grinch, I swear.
Did you say Honey Graham. Stop it. You pervert.
Australia sounds so amazing, welcome back! I can see how it would be hard to adjust when you've been away so long! I can't believe there are Christmas decorations up now, but I'm loving it :)
Yay for being back for the weekend recap! Missed you! And I love the Grove. I have only been there once, but felt like I had died and gone to Heaven! Congrats to both of our winning teams!
So bummed we didn't think of you watching online at the beginning of the game!! I'm glad you got to see the second half, though. It was so exciting! I'm glad we were texting throughout. :)
I was SO jealous when I saw via Instagram you went to the grove! I love that mall & even more with all the decorations! So glad you're back, it was fun though keeping up w your trip via Instagram!

I hate that they don't play all the games on tv and/or accessible for the fans. Glad you found a way to watch!
