Lovely Layers


This week's lovely layers Friday's Fancies theme is perfect because I have a layered bracelet up for grabs right now. Be sure to enter my Valentine's giveaway for your chance to win a pretty stack bracelet!

 And now for a little fashion layering. I layer on the regular but I am afraid to mix prints. I think it looks great on others but I never have the guts. This is a tame way to ease into it I think. And the pieces are pretty basic so I think it's pretty do-able with wardrobe. Do you mix patterns?

    I love hot pink skinnies and I cannot get enough of the leopard print anything. So those flats are my fave. I had an issue with mixing prints, too, but I finally dove in. I'm okay with it as long as the prints aren't too loud.

    I'm quite shy on that
    I don't know how other people seem to do it effortlessly and beautifully.

    I'm a "solid" kind of girl, so I usually steer clear of the patterns. However, that's a total lie because I just realized I bought a navy and white striped sweater from Banana Republic last weekend. I may mix it with my leopard print flats after you posted this... you shall see in my weekend update! ;-)

    I'm scared of print mixing too. So many people do it so well, but I am afraid I'll look like a total 90's reject or somethign.

    i agree on the mixing prints- I dont think it matches at all rather to me it clashes. Im the type where everything has to exactly match. That MK bag is all over new york!
