Fashion Go-Tos
If you haven't yet heard, here's my 17,367th announcement: I GOT A NEW JOB! Point is, it's been a bit tough to get into the swing of things. It's a new routine after 4+ years. I no longer work a three-minute drive away from home. I'm learning new skills and procedures and have no downtime during the work day. It's overwhelming. A good overwhelming, though. BUT as a result I've had no time to blog or visit blogs. Eventually I'll get back into my routine. In the meantime, please bear with me. I'm not ignoring you and I do miss reading & interacting with everyone.
Now that I have anywhere from a 1-1 1/2 hour commute mornings, are a rush. There are a few fashion staples that I look to for finishing outfit touches, like my favorite leopard scarf and some new jewelry purchases. It's the little things to keep you sane right?

Love all those pieces. I've seen the sandals everywhere. Maybe I should get them before they're sold out haha
ReplyDeleteI love those sandals. Ana above has the right idea...I need to get them before they sell out.

I am in LOVE with those sandals. They are perfect! Even if the new job is busy, it sounds like you're enjoying it which is awesome. Hang in there. I'm sure things will settle down eventually! :)
ReplyDeleteThose sandals are fab. I feel your pain with the commute and rushing in the morning. I find that planning my outfits out for the week really help me save time in the morning. I plan all my outfits for the week on Sunday evening. I also try to keep my outfits pretty simple but dress them up with accessory!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck at your new job!!
Best, Mree

yes! the sandals! god we are all so cute ;)
ReplyDeleteAdjusting to a new commute is difficult. I went from a five minute commute to an hour five years ago, and I'm still trying to regain time in my day that's spent commuting!
ReplyDeleteTake your time with blogging. I know how it can be to catch up and find time to actually read stuff. Miss you.
ReplyDeleteAnd heck, you better move than having to go through that kind of a commute. Let me know where you are...maybe one day during summer we can have lunch or so. ;)
xoxo
Congrats on the new job, lady! Hopefully it gets less stressful and you get adjusted pretty soon :) it's always tough starting a new job and learning new things.. I just went through the same process! It's hard to juggle everything and it always feels like there's not enough time in the day! I really hope it get's better!
ReplyDeleteLove your favorites :) thank you for linking up with us!

I need those sandals in my life!! Glad things are going well for you. But that commute makes my stomach hurt for you. I am sure you are killing it. Proud of you!!
ReplyDeleteI totally should have invested in some Target stock back in the day - sometimes I think the blogging community singlehandedly keeps them in business! ;) Those sandals are AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI could not be prouder of you - the commute may suck, but you're probably KILLING it and will continue to do so. But for real, request a business trip to NYC so we can do lunch (and by lunch, I mean drinks.. liquid lunch?).
Ahh congrats!! And why do I not own those sandals?!?
ReplyDeletethose target sandals have been on my wishlist for weeks. too bad i am on a spending freeze! ha

Long commutes are the worst. I hope you can move closer to your work soon!
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand! You need to focus on your awesome new job! I hope you can move closer, though...an hour and half commute will get old REAL quick.
