I'm kinda in love with these floral shorts. I think because the faded color makes them look a little distressed and not so sweet. Paired with a plain bag and top I'm good to go.
The only problem I have with this look I came up with is the fact that I want to recreate it. The problem? TAXES!
When I took my new job I got a bump in pay. Yay, wonderful! Great! Not so much. Because I make more, I get taxed more. In the end, I am actually making $100 less EACH paycheck - $200 less a month. That seems fair doesn't it?
Without sounding too poor, poor pitiful me, instead of celebrating my first full paycheck at my new job, I'm going to stay home this weekend. Please go out and enjoy yourself then come back and link up for Monday Morning Gossip sharing your fun stories so I can live vicariously through you!!

ugh taxes are the worse!!! I have the same problem... more I make, more they take out. ugh. haha luckily I somehow got a nice tax return. don't know how I managed that haha

I HATE paying taxes. I actually owed over $2,000 this year because I'm in that higher tax bracket and it's crap.
I always like patterned shorts but then I'm afraid to wear them because I'm for sure bigger on the bottom and I don't want to draw attention to that!
Taxes are a total ahole. HATE.

Oh man, that's always the problem with making more money. My husband and I think we'll have more money when I start working this fall...but in reality, we'll probably just get bumped up to a higher tax bracket. Oh well...
