I'm not a huge fan of awards ceremonies. They bore me. But I do love the fashion as much as the next person. I think there were a lot of beautiful gowns this year! I loved the sparkle. On the opposite side, while I didn't personally like some looks, and felt some dresses were horrendous, the others that landed on my least favorite list were mostly just eh. They weren't terribly tragic, but definitely missed the mark. Here are my picks for best and worst
2014 Golden Globes fashion.

Ooooh the fashion last night!
ReplyDeleteLupita Nyong hands downs the winner in my book. She is so flawlessly stunning, that skin, that smile. That dress! Amazing!
Some people made fun of this, but I thought Reese Witherspoon looked amazing. Those curves!
Hated Sandra Bullock, Julie Bowen, Paula Patton (WTF was on her left shoulder?!?), Taylor Swift
Completely agree with your yays and nays! The yays are all soooo stunning!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the linkup and for the dress recap! I never get to watch the awards shows but love seeing the gowns. Zoe Saldana is my favorite from this group!
ReplyDeleteOn the Daily Express
My favorite was probably Emma Watson or Julianna Margulies.
ReplyDeletePoop, I don't have a t.v. so your post is the only update I know about about Golden Globes right now lol. But I have to agree with your outfit choices. Emma Watson's outfit is probably the coolest because she wore pants :)
ReplyDeleteLupita Nyong is so freaking gorgeous. I loved Sofia Vergera's (sp?) as well - she is too beautiful, it's not even fair!
ReplyDeleteThere were some AWFUL looks that night as well - you picked the worst ones there!
I totally forget them were on!! Love Emma Watson's dress! So pretty.

Definitely agree with your Nays, except I liked Zooey's look. Zupita and Cate killed it! The ladies looked gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNot sure who it is on the first pic on the right, that nude dress is gorgeous! Mila also looked amazing!! Great pics for the Yays and couldn't agree more with the Nays!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes I agree with your yays and nays. J.Law, what were you thinking??? :)

I was surprised how many people had dresses that were SO UNFLATTERING. Or didn't even fit very well. Come one people!
ReplyDeleteYou completely nailed it on the yay's and nay's for this list! I saw a really beautiful photo of Tina Fey in that dress from the ribs up and thought she looked good and just now saw the full length... not cute!
ReplyDeleteSome great fashion last night!!!!! Sandra Bullock looked stunning and so did Olivia Wilde. Loved Michelle Docherty also.
ReplyDeleteAgi:)

I always love Jennifer Lawrence but I didn't like her dress at all this time! Same with Sandra.
ReplyDeleteI really loved Michelle and Cate. And I liked Julia's dress a lot too! Otherwise I agree with all your nays, except I'd have to add Kaley Cuoco to the no list.
ReplyDeleteI pretty much agree 100% on all of those! I especially loved Mila Kunis & Michelle Dockery in their dresses! So pretty! And for as simple and yellow as it was, I liked Melissa Rauch in her dress too, but man she has some killer curves to fill it out-I wish my body was like that!
