San Francisco Tips, Please!
As a California resident my entire life, you'd expect that I've been to San Francisco numerous times. Sadly, I can count the number of trips on one hand. In my defense, it's about an eight hour drive from LA, plus SoCal and NorCal might as well be two different states because we are COMPLETELY different.
The times I have been up north, I've seen all of the major attractions - Golden Gate, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Pier 39, Haight-Ashbury, The Painted Ladies (aka the Full House houses pictured above), etc. Next month I'm headed back to SF and I need some suggestions of what to do and see! I'm staying in Nob Hill and will have a full day Friday and Saturday to explore. Any suggestions? I'm looking for things that most people don't know about. That includes attractions, restaurants, shops - anything that I'd be able to check out and get to via taxi or BART.
Thanks so much!

NorCal and SoCal are definitely two different states lol
I loved the Castro! So clean, great food, hot gay men :) hehe Ghirardelli Square is also fun to visit, you can take a troll down there.
I miss SF :( Take lots of pics!
I've only been twice and only hit up the tourist attractions. Jacob and I did the 49-mile drive and saw so much (Twin Peaks was my favorite), but its A LOT of driving. Have fun!!
I have always wanted to visit San Francisco ... maybe one day!
I have never been to California at all, but it's on my list! I'll look forward to getting the scoop for when I finally go!
I live in San Francisco, and I love it! Are you a Disney fan? If so, you should check out the Walt Disney Family Museum.

I liked the downtown area where all the theaters are...maybe you can catch a show?
looks like such a beautiful city..but I get the 2 different worlds thing! Kind of like uptown and downtown haha
I still have never visited SF but it's on my list. My husband lived there for a few years in his early 20s in a bad area (the tenderloin district) I've loved hearing his stories.
Haha, I've only been about 3 times and once was when I was like, 9, so you're not alone! Definitely head over to Ghirardelli Square for some chocolate (or a sundae if it's not too cold!)
Baker Beach is a must! It's so fun and it has great views of the beach. Also try Mama's the restaurant but get there early because a line forms around the door.
