I'm Co-Hosting The Hump Day Blog Hop!
We're halfway there people! Can we just take a second to daydream about somewhere tropical and beautiful? I'm zoning in my semi-recent St. Thomas getaway. One of the most beautiful places I've been.

Sizzlin' Summer Sandals
I'm all about the Old Navy flip flops. I mean, two for $5? You can't go wrong. It's sandal weather about nine months out of the year in Southern California so I feel like I should step up my shoe game. How adorable are these options I found?
1. Tory Burch Louisa Thong Sandal
2. Ecote Zigzag Slide Sandal
3. Steve Madden Hotstuff Thong Sandal
4. New Look Glass Nude Embellished Flat Sandals

Sand Cloud, the Ingenious Towel
I'm a big fan of supporting up-and-coming ideas and today I'm excited to introduce Sand Cloud! Founded this year by three friends in San Diego, Sand Cloud embodies SoCal's sunny lifestyle with an ingenious towel containing a removable pillow. It's perfect for lounging on the beach! How many times have you wanted to lay out and take a nap but not able to get comfortable? This is your solution. In addition, once you take the pillow out, the towel doubles as an adorable sarong. Don't you just love two-in-ones?
I love this idea. It's the perfect product for a variety of occasions, in addition to the beach. A picnic in the park, an outdoor movie, even for living room exercises - the possibilities are endless. On a recent day off I decided to use mine to lounge by the pool. Talk about relaxing!
Retailing for just under $30 it's comparable to basic travel-type towels that you can buy at Target or Old Navy EXCEPT, there's a cause you support when you buy a Sand Cloud. As beach lovers, the brand is committed to giving back to the ocean and donates 10% of every sale to several foundations dedicated to preserving Marine Life.
To get things going, there's a Sand Cloud Kickstarter to raise support and grow the company be the successful brand they're destined to be. If you'd like to donate to the goal, you can give whatever amount you'd like. If you give $35 you'll get your own towel. Win-win! I'm wishing them lots of luck. There's already over $2,000! I really believe in their product and charitable mission.
To get your hands on a Sand Cloud, head to the site and order your favorite color today!
Disclaimer: I was gifted a Sand Cloud for review purpose and in exchange for an honest post. All opinions are my own.

Worth mentioning: Sand Clouds are hand woven, eco-friendly, lightweight, quick drying, Turkish cotton.

My Nordstrom Sale Purchases
I know everyone is posting about the Nordstron sale so I might as well join in. Instead of a wishlist, I'm sharing the actual items I bought. Technically I'm only contracting so I shouldn't be buying anything without a real job, but I couldn't help myself.
The watch sucked me in. Kate Spade, gold, mother of pearl. Sold! Then the site suggested I may like the initial necklace, also by Kate Spade. Dangit Nordstrom, you got me again. By chance I came across the top and instantly fell in love. Overall, I saved $90. Not too shabby!
Linking up with Annie & Natalie for Thoughts on Thursday, Ash for Little Friday + Kristin for Stuff & Things, Lauren for Fab Favorites, Lena B. for Passion for Fashion

If you want to get in on the savings, the Nordstron sale lasts through August 4. My birthday is the next day, so feel free to shop for some gifts for me ;)

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
This weekend I got a little Angels baseball in. Actually a lot. The game went into the 12th inning, when unfortunately Anaheim lost. But it was still a great game! The night before they won in the 16th. I guess I picked the right series to attend.
