Man Candy Monday: James Bay
I have a new obsession - James Bay! He's been blowing up lately, and for good reason. His music is amazing. He was awarded with the Critics Choice award at the Brit Awards, played during the Burberry SS15 show, did a modeling gig for Vogue (although he said it was a one-time thing, and not for him), and is set to open the European leg of Taylor Swift's tour. Big things are in his future. You may have heard his first big single "Hold Back the River" and if you haven't take a listen below. I have a feeling you're going to love it. Like, it's really, really good.
And can we talk about how adorable he is? You all know my love for Harry Styles by now, and clearly I have a type because James has the same look...and is British with an incredible voice. They legit look the same in the second match up above. Do they share clothes?! The only difference is James is more age-appropriate for me at 24. Seven years isn't much of a gap at all ;)
DOUBLETAKE!

French Kiss Film Premiere
On Tuesday I had some rooftop fun with Kate of Nautical By Nature to celebrate the premiere of French Kiss starring Jason Ritter. The short-film was created by Marriott, so the event was fittingly located at the Marina del Rey Marriott which happens to have beautiful ocean views!
We had a fun night taking in the movie, sipping on drinks, eating crepes, and watching a beautiful sunset over the Pacific.

Positive Energy, the No-Guilt Juice
I LOVE juice - give me any kind and I'll drink it. The problem is that juice contains so much sugar. Did you know that some juice is even worse than soda? Such a bummer! When I heard about Positive Energy I was really excited to try it. This juice, which is in the energy drink category, is all natural. It contains no added sugar or artificial flavors, and is GMO and gluten-free. You're probably wondering how it's an energy drink as well as juice. Positive Energy is made with green coffee beans and each bottle contains as much caffeine as one premium coffee. So not only are you drinking actual fruit juice, but you can enjoy the same benefits as a cup of joe!
Wondering about the taste? I'll be honest, at first I missed the real sugar because I consume way too much of it. I don't even like diet sodas. I'm a legit sugar addict and drink Dr. Pepper and all of the really-bad-for-you Starbucks coffees. However, a few gulps in and I really liked the flavor! It felt good knowing that I was getting the same effect as my guilty pleasure drinks, minus the guilt. This is a great replacement if you're trying to stick to healthy options. I also hate energy drinks, but this tastes nothing like the norm. Another bonus in my book!
My favorite flavors are the orange juice and peach mango lemonade. But you should test them out to see which your favorites are! Currently, Positive Energy can be found in stores and gas stations throughout California, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii, Texas and the
Pacific Northwest. But if you don't live in those areas - no worries! You can order online in 2, 6, or 12-packs. Be sure to use code “JoinTheGossipPositiveEnergy” for free shipping!
Cheers!

OCRF Super Saturday 2015
This weekend I had the pleasure of attending LA's second annual OCRF Super Saturday with Kate of Nautical by Nature. With a ticketed entry to the event, attendees get to mingle with celebrities (I spotted Jamie King and Camille of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) while shopping, getting pampered, enjoying delish food, and loading up on a ton of freebies. Best part? The event is hosted by The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund with the goal of raising funds and awareness for ovarian and other types of cancer.
My favorite part of the event was def the Mary Kay booth. Not only did we get our makeup done, but we also got to make flower crowns. I've always thought they were a bit cheesy but I've changed my mind. They're super pretty. My crown was a little huge and flowers were falling out, but it was my first time making one. Not too shabby. So fun!
