See that lovely bunch of ladies up there? They were all a part of LA Social Studio Shop - an incredible weekend of learning, networking, and straight up support! The event was put on by Social Studio Shop and is dedicated to helping participants grow their blogs and/or businesses. I recommend looking into their future workshops if you are trying to get to the next level. For me, I've been stagnant and seeking inspiration. This weekend definitely helped spark a creative fire within me.
The main information we learned throughout the weekend was analytics and how to measure stats and see what your audience likes about your posts. From Facebook to Pinterest, we were given tools on all of the major social networks. We also learned a valuable lesson: it's not about numbers. It's about being true to yourself and authentic with your followers. It's easy to get caught up in likes and comments, but it's not a popularity contest. When you get in your groove people will catch on.
Plus on top of the knowledge I gained, I also got some fun goodies and made friends I plan on keeping in touch with. Each woman in attendance brought something special to the table and I'm glad I was able to make connections with each of them, and I look forward to watching them grow on their individual journeys.
